Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels are specialized offshore support ships designed for some of the most demanding tasks in the oil and gas industry. AHTS units are primarily used to tow oil rigs to their offshore locations, handle and set rig anchors, and transport supplies to and from drilling platforms.
