152' x 34' Landing Craft RORO Cargo Passenger DWT 280 tons For Sale
This is an Ocean going landing craft, 152 feet long by 34 feet wide. Vessel was originally built in 1991 in Tacoma, WA, and lengthened in 2006. Vessel operates in six feet of water with a 250 ton cargo capacity. Vessel is equipped with a four-way anchoring system.
Options available include a helipad and additional quarters for personnel. There are fourteen sleeping berths for placing ten personnel on the board in addition to the vessel's crew. The galley is equipped with a large chest freezer, oversized refrigerator, and large range with oven, TV/VCR and microwave. Quarters for personnel in addition to four crew and ten charterer personnel may be accomplished with the on-deck installation of a US
Coast Guard certified quarters module.
The bow ramp is 21 feet wide and allows for loading and unloading personnel, heavy equipment and cargo where there are no docking or port facilities available. When the landing craft goes on the beach, the stern anchor is dropped to hold the boat in the position. When the bow ramp is down it serves as a bow anchor on the beach.
Vessel was built for the extreme conditions found in Alaska's waters. She has increased hull plate thickness of 3/8" ABS steel which makes for increased survivability if the vessel is grounded and adds additional strength to the vessel during operations in ice.
In October of 2013, a set of two new MAN engines, Tier II, 900 H/P, 1800 RPM Continuous, Coast Guard and ABS certified has been installed to replace the older engines. Transmissions overhauled with brand new inside parts making this vessel super reliable.

152 X 34 ft. landing craft powered by two 900 hp MAN diesel engines. Because of its configuration, it can be equipped to handle a wide variety of tasks. The vessel can cruise at 10 to 12 knots. The 26 x 26 foot deck above the galley area may be used as a helipad. The helipad rails and antenna arrays fold to the horizontal position during helicopter operations providing a clear rotor plane in all directions.
The forward ballast tanks have been plumbed to provide 20,000 gallons of fresh water capacity to accommodate a large crew. A secondary 30,000 gallon tank may be made available if required. A fresh water plant would not be required due to the large water tank capacity.
The boat is USCG and ABS inspected. All equipment and furnishings are of excellent quality for dependability.
The vessel is equipped with a four-way Danforth anchoring system which allows the vessel to maintain an anchored position regardless of winds and tides. The anchoring system consists of the following:

• Two 2,000 lb. stern anchor, with 900 ft of 1 ¼ inch cable and 20 ft of 1 ¼ inch chain each.
