The Tanker-Barge was built on March 1, 1979. By SBA; Shipyard, Jennings, LA, hailing port Philadelphia,
USA with Hull Number 239 under class certificate A1, Oil Tank Barge issued by ABS Class.

According to the ship's construction specifications, the ship is designed as a Tanker Barge has a
maximum deadweight of 13,575 MT at 23 feet draft; Gross Tonnage of 6,376, a Net Tonnage of 3,957,
summer draft 7, 01 Meters.
The Tanker-Barge has an overall length of 122.13 meters, a beam of 21.95 meters and a draft of 7.01 meters,
a design depth of 8.78 meters.
The Tanker-Barge has a double hull design, Fuel Oil storage tank area, The deck
main is a main deck, a raised forecastle deck with bow, accommodation including 03
cabins to accommodate 06 crew members, a kitchen with its accessories integrated into the room, and a compartment
designed for auxiliary machinery which includes two main generators 02 sets from the manufacturer John Deere
model 68816 with serial numbers: RG 6081A 273 -404 that generate an output of 195 KW running at 1,800
RPM, and as according to NOx regulations have been classified in Tier II, installed on board in October 2007
and two sets of 10,000,000 BTU heaters, Vapor Heaters (Hot Oil System) which are powered by
MGO/Marine Diesel and air from the compressors generates Hot Oil that is sent through a main line
to the heater coils located in the cargo tanks in order to keep the product in optimal conditions
of viscosity for discharge through Deep well pumps.
Please note that in October 2007, the Tanker-Barge was structurally modified under the supervision of
ABS Class re-issuing the Tonnage Certificate (1969) which reflects the structural changes
of the tanker barge that went from being single hull/single skin/simple hull to double hull/double skin/double hull
Cargo hold capacity: The Tanker Barge is equipped with 10 cargo tanks divided by the cargo line.
bay without void space/ empty space between them on the center line, these tanks are separated from the
external hull/Shell plating/hull by Void Spaces/empty spaces numbered from 1 to 05 on both sides of the
barge.
The ship has two Caterpillar Model C18 Cargo pumps with serial C1J00413 type Deep Well with the
Rated power of 339 KW at 1,800 RPM
