She is a conventionally moored drillship designed for mid-water operations, notable for being the first EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) drillship built in China with full intellectual property rights.
The vessel was most recently working in the East China Sea.
There is no listed "asking price" available for a purchase in 2026, as such transactions are typically handled through private tenders. Specially these Owners cannot work for Anonymous Buyers.
However, historical and market data provide us a baseline:
· Original Construction Cost was : Approximately US$268 million.
· Estimated Market Value: Depending on the state of reactivation, current market value for a 10-year-old mid-water drillship of this class is generally estimated between $80 million and $120 million, though reactivation costs (estimated to take 8-12 months) would be a significant factor in negotiations.
