For a high-specification newbuilt DP2 AHTS with the unique combination of shallow draft (4.0m) and PC6 Ice Class (Polar Code),
a 1-year time charter in West Africa for 2026 is estimated to range between US$ 22,000 and US$ 32,000 per day, depending on the specific scope of work and mobilization costs,
which is difficult determine, as have not heard details of the intended employment.
Again, vessel has not been finally delivered.
From my records please note:
Should be typically between US$ 22 million and US$ 28 million. However, the inclusion of PC6 Icebreaker Class and shallow draft (4.0m) design significantly impacts the final valuation.
NB: There are a couple of similar AHTS built 2020 in the range of US$ 16-18 Million.
